About the Role
The Team Lead – Student Experience Coordinator (SEC) plays a vital role in creating a world-class studio experience for our community. This position leads and manages the SEC team, ensuring operational excellence, consistent hospitality, and a seamless day-to-day experience.
The Team Lead is responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and developing SECs, while maintaining clear communication with the Director of Studio Experience (DSE). This role balances hands-on operational support with people leadership—bridging the gap between the front desk team and studio leadership.
The ideal candidate is proactive, service-driven, and grounded in community. They embody The Hola Way: leading with warmth, professionalism, and heart while ensuring efficiency, accountability, and excellence in every shift.
About You
Warm, professional, and genuinely people-oriented.
Skilled multitasker who remains calm and kind under pressure.
Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
Confident using booking and POS systems (training provided).
Takes initiative and enjoys improving processes and experiences.
Familiar with or enthusiastic about yoga, wellness, and mindful community spaces.
Experienced in customer service, hospitality, or studio operations (preferred).
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, flexible workday, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
Comfortable and confident taking photos and videos for social media.
Duties + Responsibilities
Customer Experience
Lead and support front desk operations, ensuring every student receives a warm, efficient, and welcoming experience.
Foster genuine community connection by greeting students by name and maintaining inclusive studio energy.
Respond promptly and courteously to all communication channels.
Studio Environment & Oversight
Execute daily operational tasks and priorities as assigned by leadership.
Uphold cleanliness, organization, and functionality across all spaces, ensuring the studio meets Hola Yoga’s high standards.
Oversee inventory, keeping stock organized and replenished.
Prepare studios and share helpful class details with teachers—like new faces, injuries, or student needs—to create a smooth, supportive environment for everyone.
Identify and report maintenance needs or operational challenges
Team Leadership & Development
Lead by example, modeling professionalism, warmth, and hospitality in every shift.
Lead hiring, onboarding and training of new SECs to maintain consistency and excellence.
Foster open, respectful team communication and collaboration.
Monitor SEC performance through regular check-ins, observation, and feedback.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Maintain strong knowledge of all Hola offerings and communicate them authentically to students.
Support marketing initiatives, updating in-studio signage, and gathering photos or videos for marketing materials.
Contribute creative ideas and assist with in-studio events to strengthen community connection and engagement.

Pay
Experience-dependent. Starts at $19/hour
Compensation and benefits adjusted based on experience and whether the role is part-time or full-time.
