Welcome the Winter Solstice with a Nurturing Sound Bath + Restorative Yoga
-
Join us at Hola Yoga for a special Winter Solstice gathering featuring our beloved Sound Bath + Restorative Yoga. This seasonal offering invites you to slow down, reflect, and and honor the transition into winter with presence and ease.
We’re thrilled to welcome back Jo-Jo, our longtime collaborator and gifted sound healer, alongside Cacey for this deeply nourishing evening of rest and renewal.
Together, they’ll guide you through a gentle restorative yoga practice paired with a soothing sound bath—an immersive blend of movement, stillness, and sound that encourages release, grounding, and inner harmony.
We’ll begin with restorative yoga poses fully supported by props, allowing the body to soften, the breath to deepen, and the mind to settle. From there, you’ll be gently carried into a soundscape of singing bowls, chimes, and gongs—resonant vibrations that invite balance, release, and renewal.
Perfect for anyone seeking relaxation, emotional reset, or a peaceful way to honor the solstice season. No prior yoga experience is needed—all are welcome.
$50 per reservation.
Meet Jo-Jo, a yoga teacher & clinical yoga therapist. In addition, Jo-Jo's an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor certified in HeartMath™ personal resiliency techniques and she specializes in guiding sound meditation practices through the traditions of Nada Yoga. Her continuing education sources from philosophical, somatic & therapeutic training combined with the wisdom & experience of her personal practice.
Practicing yoga since 2010, and teaching yoga since 2014. Jo-Jo's personal & professional practices are deeply aligned with the therapeutic wisdom of Ayurveda and the embodied liberation of Tantra. After several years of dedicated study, practice and teaching, Jo-Jo expanded her professional yoga practice and graduated with an MS in yoga therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health in 2024.
Cacey moved to Nashville in 2010 and started practicing hot yoga shortly after. As she explored different styles of yoga and deepened her practice over the next 8 years she continued to come back to the idea of getting her yoga teacher certification. In 2018, she finally decided to take the leap and received her 200-hour certification from Kali Yuga Yoga. Her teaching style is informative, approachable, and inclusive. She believes that yoga is not about how flexible you are or even how in shape you are, it’s about becoming comfortable enough with yourself to sit in silence, to move with your breath, and to create space where there once was none. Her goal as a teacher is to arm her students with the information they can use to practice yoga in their daily lives, both on and off the mat.
