A playful, grounding practice for growing bodies and minds

Our Kids Yoga program is thoughtfully designed to support children ages 5–10 in building body awareness, emotional regulation, confidence, and connection all through movement, breath, imagination, and play.

At Hola Yoga, we believe children deserve spaces that are calm, intentional, and rooted in care. Kids Yoga is offered with this philosophy at the center.

What Kids Yoga Looks Like

Each class blends:

  • Yoga postures adapted for children

  • Breath awareness and simple mindfulness

  • Games, storytelling, and creative movement

  • Opportunities for connection, cooperation, and self-expression

  • Classes are kept intentionally small to ensure each child receives care and attention.

Why Kids Yoga Is Offered as a Class Pack

We’ve found that a class pack offers the best balance between structure and flexibility for both children and families.

Rather than rigid series or unpredictable drop-ins, class packs support consistency while honoring the realities of family life.

We are deeply passionate about bringing yoga and mindfulness to children and not just in our studio, but beyond it.

This is why we proudly partner with BeWell in School, an organization that brings yoga, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning into local schools. Through this partnership, these practices become accessible to children who may not otherwise have access to them.

Parent & Guardian Expectations

  • To ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children and guests: A parent or guardian must remain on the studio premises for the duration of class

  • You may wait in the lobby or take a class yourself

  • This program is not childcare

  • Only enrolled children should plan to visit the studio. For the comfort of all guests, unenrolled children are not permitted in the studio or lobby during Kids Yoga class time. This helps preserve a calm, quiet environment for other classes and guests

  • All children must be signed in and signed out by a guardian each session

  • To help children feel comfortable, focused, and at ease, Kids Yoga classes are not open for parent observation

  • Waivers are required for participation (to be completed prior to the first class)

Health & Wellness Policy

We value the health of our students, families, teachers, and broader community. Please do not bring sick children to class. If your child is experiencing symptoms of illness, we kindly ask that you stay home and rest. This shared care helps us maintain a healthy studio environment for everyone.

Studio Policies for Kids Yoga

  • Yoga mats are required for all students

  • Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from class without a refund, in order to maintain a safe and supportive environment for everyone

  • Late cancel ($5) and no-show ($10) fees are the same as all other Hola Yoga classes
